We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with 15+ years of experience to lead high-impact projects involving AI and machine learning, primarily in a cloud-first environment using Microsoft Azure. This is a highly technical, hands-on role (~90% coding) focused on building cloud-native, AI-driven systems from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
Write clean, maintainable code in C#, Java, or Python. Design and develop cloud-native, agentic AI systems using Azure services. Prototype and evaluate new SDKs, APIs, and cloud services for AI workflows. Build scalable, high-performance cloud applications with strong observability. Lead complex projects, solving engineering challenges and guiding design decisions. Develop monitoring and diagnostic tools to ensure system reliability. Integrate ML/AI services, APIs, and data platforms for real-time analytics and workflows. Promote best practices in serverless architecture, testing, security, and observability. Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and elevate engineering standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Qualifications
12–15+ years of software development experience, with a focus on backend or full-stack roles. Deep hands-on experience with C#, Java, or Python. Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and ML workflows. Knowledge of autonomous agents, multi-agent orchestration, and frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel. Expertise in Azure SDKs, Cognitive Services, and cloud-native tools; experience with AWS/GCP is a plus. Proven ability to design and build scalable, distributed systems. Strong microservices, event-driven, and serverless architecture skills. Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and cost management. Ability to work in agile environments and lead technically. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Preferred Skills
Experience with custom copilots and fine-tuning LLMs. Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, streaming tech. Experience with developer tools and platforms, data lakes, or real-time processing (Apache Beam, Spark). Additional Information
