Your Purpose
The Vice President, Commercial Management is responsible for overseeing two critical pillars
within the Commercial organization: the Outbound Sales team and Commercial Initiatives team.
Outbound Sales is a high growth sales channel for MSC Cruises. The VP will work very closely
with the head of Outbound Sales to maximize the performance of the Outbound sales team
along with identifying and implementing a roadmap that accelerates the contribution of this
sales channel.
The Commercial Initiatives team is responsible for leading and executing key commercial
projects that drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency. This team manages
initiatives across various commercial departments, both within the U.S. and global, ensuring
alignment with company objectives and successful implementation of strategic plans.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in the MSC Miami and/or Fort Lauderdale
offices, Florida.

Key Responsibilities Overseeing Outbound Sales Team
Overall P&L Responsibilities: Setting strategic direction, KPIs and targets, driving growthand profitability, and managing resources as needed to optimize performance. Growth Acceleration: Determine 2-3 year growth plan for the outbound sales channel, identifying key growth levers and working with various stakeholders to execute levers for growth. Continuous Innovation: Utilize data and insights for continued innovation and optimization across all aspects of the sales channel: new campaigns, new offerings, sales incentives, personnel strategies, operational improvements, guest propensity insights, etc. Sales Team Management: Work closely with the Director of Outbound Sales, to define and implement strategies that incent optimal performance and maximize retention of outbound sales team members Executive Collaboration: Collaborate with various cross-functional teams including with Revenue Management – both in the U.S. and in HQ, Marketing, eCommerce, Inbound Sales, Trade Sales, and HQ Call Center to ensure outbound sales efforts align with pricing strategies, campaigns, and brand positioning Business Reviews & Reporting: Deliver ongoing performance updates including presenting monthly business reviews to executive team. Provide ad hoc analysis and reports as necessary.

Project Leadership: Ensure successful execution of cross-functional commercial projects from inception to completion, including defining scope, objectives, and deliverables MSC - Internal Project Management: Responsible for effective project management processes and steps fore each project, including problem solving, performance tracking, risk management, stakeholder management, and strategic planning Strategic Projects and Assessments: Provide assessments to determine expected upside and prioritization of strategic projects with input from key commercial teams. Executive Communications: Prepare and present recommendations, status updates, and project insights to senior executives Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the U.S. and in HQ including Revenue Management, Marketing, eCommerce, Inbound Sales, Trade Sales, IT, Finance and various teams across headquarters. Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor high performing team.
In addition to these primary responsibilities, working side by side with the EVP Marketing, eCommerce & Sales and senior leadership on various commercial strategic initiatives
Your Essentials
Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred, ideally from a globally recognized business school. Significant experience and successful track record developing and executing commercial strategies across sales or marketing for consumer brands (ideally cruise, travel, hospitality) driving revenue growth. Proven track record of strong performance and career progression in high-performing businesses and/or management consulting firms known for attracting and developing great talent. Significant leadership experience, accustomed to managing high performing teams across functions and levels, and interacting closely with senior executives. Demonstrated ability to utilize data driven insights and analytical skills to develop strategy and optimize performance. Results oriented with demonstrated tenacity, perseverance and grit. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of effective teamwork across functions and levels. Strong curiosity and passion for continually learning. Comfortable working within a multi-national company across multiple time zones. Inventive problem solver, highly collaborative with a high level of accountability. Able to work in S Florida with a hybrid 3 days / week in-office schedule.
