Key Responsibilities: Oversee the client intake process, closely monitoring and assessing potential credit worthiness and business-related risk. Work with attorneys and timekeepers to ensure both billing and time entries are aligned with the firm’s policies and procedures. Monitor the statuses of unbilled time and accounts receivable, assisting with collecting accounts receivable as needed. Review existing firm procedures to identify windows of opportunity to increase business operation efficiency. Prepare end of year firm-wide revenue forecast. Report any conflicts with unbilled time and accounts receivable to senior firm management, assist with resolving any conflicts promptly. You currently hold a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight (8) or more years of related previous experience in law firm finance and accounting operations. Software Superstar. You are expertly skilled with technology and have strong working experience on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and billing software programs like Elite 3E and XXX. Supervisory Presence. You have strong leadership skills and can effectively provide coaching and mentorship to team members. The ability to communicate among all levels of staff is one of your strengths. Deadline Driven. You are highly organized and can manage competing priorities and deadlines seamlessly. When meeting a deadline requires occasional after-hours work, you are flexible and available to make it happen.
