Vice President, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Reports To : Chief Administrative & Legal Officer Positions Supervised : Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, IT Relationship Manager, Senior IT Relationship Manager FLSA Status : Exempt Job Summary The Vice President, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is a senior leader accountable for ensuring Together Credit Union delivers on its strategic priorities through the successful execution of enterprise-wide projects. Reporting to the Chief Administrative & Legal Officer, this role defines and governs the Credit Union’s project management strategy, leveraging adaptive delivery models and fostering cross-functional alignment to ensure high-impact initiatives advance long-term business objectives and member value. The VP works with senior leadership to translate strategy into actionable initiatives, enabling the Executive Management Team (EMT) to prioritize effectively and make informed investment decisions. This role builds bridges between strategy, operations, and delivery, strengthens project capabilities across the organization, and fosters a culture of effective execution, transparency, and collaboration that drives measurable business outcomes and strengthens the Credit Union’s ability to adapt, grow, and serve members. Defines Together Credit Union’s project management strategy and governance model to ensure alignment with organizational goals Partners with the Executive Management Team (EMT) to align enterprise-wide projects with the organization’s strategic plan and resource capacity, ensuring priorities reflect business value and organizational impact Directs enterprise-wide project planning, including project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and dependency management Oversees delivery of all approved enterprise-wide projects, ensuring they achieve intended outcomes, remain on budget, and are completed on time Advises the EMT on trade-offs, interdependencies, resource constraints, and organizational impacts to guide effective project-related decisions Leads organizational change readiness and adoption efforts for major initiatives Oversees relationships with external vendors and contractors supporting enterprise-wide projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance with contracts, and delivery of quality outcomes Leads pre-launch planning and post-project reviews to identify best approaches, share lessons learned, and strengthen future delivery Incorporates lessons learned, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics to drive ongoing improvement of project outcomes and delivery practices Develops executive-level reporting to provide clear visibility into enterprise project performance and inform strategic decision-making Fosters a culture of accountability, results, and continuous improvement across all business units Builds and develops a high-performing EPMO team, fostering leadership capability and professional growth within a lean, high-impact structure Strengthens project management capabilities across the organization through training, tools, and knowledge sharing Anticipates and adapts to industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools to strengthen the Credit Union’s project management capabilities Required Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. High school diploma or equivalent Experience working in financial services, credit unions, or other regulated industries 5+ years of experience in project, program, or enterprise-wide initiative management, including leadership of cross-functional efforts 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing governance, strategy, enterprise project delivery, or organizational change Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or equivalent certification Experience implementing and managing project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) in a complex or regulated environment Experience leading organizational change, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring adoption of new processes and tools Preferred Qualifications
Degree in business, leadership, project management, or a related field 10+ years of experience in project, program, or enterprise-wide initiative management, including leadership of cross-functional efforts Advanced certification in Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or change management (e.g., Prosci) Experience building a project management function or maturing an existing EPMO within a lean team structure Familiarity with applicable regulatory environments in financial services Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
