As a Personal Care Assistant / Certified Nursing Aide, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

- Provide the personal care and support our clients need to live safely at home n
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship n
- Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises n
- Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns n
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways n
- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies n
A few must-haves for PCAs / CNAs:
n- n
- High school diploma (or equivalent) n
- Active certification in Virginia (PCA/CNA/HHA) n
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare role, preferred n
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation n
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. n
