nPerforms daily routine and project floor care, including operating floor care equipment. Maintains the healthcare environment in a clean, sanitary and attractive condition for customers and employees utilizing various tools and through operation of powered equipment.

Carpet shampoo and extraction.

Baseboard cleaning.

Maintain all assigned equipment; keep equipment clean and in good repair, report all problems and suggestions to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.

One (1) year of experience in floor care or project work.

Ability to communicate with all members of the health care team.

Independent thinking and decision-making ability.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.

Completion of 3-6 months of on the job training to learn work routines and operation of equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervisory Responsibilities

- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. n
