Family-owned FlynnO'Hara Uniforms is the Philadelphia-based supplier and retailer of high-quality school uniforms, gym wear, and medical attire, founded in 1972. We offer our team members flexible scheduling, a friendly work environment, in addition to competitive pay. Our Auston, TX retail location is looking to fill a PT Key Holder position. The Key Holder is responsible for managing sales, operations, asset protection and human resources functions of the store to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability.

DUTIES

Assume responsibility for the operations of the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.

Assist in the direction and supervision of associates engaged in sales, inventory-taking, and reconciling cash receipts or in performing guest services.
n
n
Promote legendary customer service by ensuring associates are greeting and assisting customers; respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
n
n
Actively monitor inventory levels and sales to make timely and appropriate requests to maximize store fulfillment.
n
n
Promote the use of product knowledge as a tool to enhance employee productivity, sales, and service levels.
n
n
Maintain a visually appealing store, ensuring proper housekeeping; visual merchandising and organization are kept to the highest standard.
n
n
Train associates on visual merchandising to ensure the store is always maintained.
n
n
Prepare and oversee physical inventory, receiving of merchandise and reporting discrepancies.
n
n
Open boxes and other containers of merchandise, use computers to enter or access records.
n
n
Check computer orders as well as sorting/placing materials on racks, shelves or in bins.
n
n
Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures.
n
n
Machine operators will have additional specific functions.
n
n
Other duties as assigned/required.

QUALIFICATIONS

n
Retail experience a PLUS!
n
n
High School diploma or equivalent
n
n
Open availability to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of the company. This position does not require Sundays or late nights.
n
n
Clear and effective written, verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
n
n
Ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a fast-paced retail environment.
n
n
Proficient in Windows based software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
n
n
Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stockroom.
n
n
Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks and responsibilities.
n
n
Physical activities include bending, kneeling, lifting to 30 lbs., climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
