About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) to play a pivotal role in the advancement of its global cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will be a senior leader within the Information Security organization, with a focus on driving operational excellence, strategic execution, and security maturity. Key responsibilities include leading security operations, vulnerability management, and customer identity and access management (CIAM) functions. The Deputy CISO will be instrumental in enhancing the company's security posture, with a strong emphasis on real-time detection, response, and automation, as well as building and mentoring high-performing security teams.
To excel in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive cybersecurity experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership, and a proven track record in building security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and CIAM programs. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices. The role demands an individual with executive presence, the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business audiences, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC. The Deputy CISO will also be responsible for strategic and enterprise influence, partnering with the CISO to shape long-term cybersecurity strategy, and ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
