With 177 guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and two unique dining experiences (including a vibrant rooftop bar), we're setting a new standard for hospitality in Kansas City.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Housekeepers who take pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to the highest brand and service standards. You'll be a vital part of the guest experience, ensuring each room reflects the quality and care that defines the Cascade Hotel.
Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
• Replace used linens and towels, replenish guest amenities, and ensure room readiness for new arrivals
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or assigned
• Maintain and restock housekeeping cart with supplies and linens at the start and end of each shift
• Remove trash and recyclables from rooms and designated areas
• Respond to guest requests promptly and with a friendly, helpful attitude
• Report any maintenance concerns via work orders for timely resolution
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of all guest areas and service corridors
• Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times

Requirements & Expectations:

• A high level of energy, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
• Dependable and punctual with a strong attention to detail
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 25 lbs) throughout the shift
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Prompt and regular attendance is essential-the hotel operates 24/7
• Minimum availability of 16 hours per week for part-time positions
• Adherence to uniform and grooming standards, as outlined in the employee handbook
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening, as required by law
• Willingness to perform any additional duties as requested by management
• Weekly review and approval of electronic timecard for payroll accuracy

Work Environment:

• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands for cleaning tasks
• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures
• Quiet to moderate noise levels depending on location and time of day
