nEDUCATION:
nHS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
nCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
nBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
nDemonstrated knowledge of basic patient care skills, clinic procedures, and equipment.
nKnowledge of appropriate emergency care for role (i.e. chest compressions, dialing 911)
nAbility to follow instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
nBasic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
nPossess written and verbal communications skills to explain patient care information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
nWell-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadline.
nGeneral knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).

nDepartments delivering hemodialysis: Demonstrated knowledge of dialysis water quality per AAMI (American Academy of Medical Instrumentation) Standards
nDepartments delivering hemodialysis: Capable of providing necessary immediate interventions managing dialysis complications, as allowed by scope of practice.

nPay Range is $27.03 to $33.78 / hour
nThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
