• Case Mix: Unassigned ED patients, transfers, inpatient consults, critical care admissions (co-managed)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama
• Certifications: Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine
• Experience: Internal Medicine residency trained
• Other Qualifications: Experience with diverse patient populations preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide overnight coverage for ED unassigned patients requiring admission
• Co-manage critical care patients with intensivist support
• Perform admissions, transfers, and inpatient consults
• Work collaboratively with subspecialists and support teams
• Participate in teaching through ACOM and ACGME residency programs
