Strategic Account Ownership: Independently manage complex, high-touch B2B accounts from initial engagement to design win and commercial scale-up. Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction with products and customer support. New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the industry, prospecting and pitching to potential clients to expand the company's customer base. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability, considering market trends, competition, and customer feedback. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's battery products, their technical specifications, and advantages over competitors to effectively communicate these benefits to clients. Custom Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D and production, to tailor solutions that meet specific client requirements and address unique challenges. Negotiation and Contracts: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management, analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement Mentorship: Support the development of sales team members and help raise the overall commercial execution bar.

Qualifications

Sales/Business Development Experience: Proven track record and 10+ years of experience in sales, business development or other customer-facing roles, ideally in semiconductors, batteries, or B2B component industries with long sales cycles and complex customer engagements. Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with battery technology and a capacity to understand technical specifications is highly advantageous. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Goal-Oriented: Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets. Self-Starter: Highly independent and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize, focus, and execute without constant oversight. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to drive strategic decisions. Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Global Experience: Experience with international customer teams is a plus. Military Segment Experience: Experience selling into U.S. military or defense-related accounts, including familiarity with procurement dynamics and qualification cycles, is a strong plus.
