POSITION TITLE: CLEANER
NATURE OF WORK
PERFORMED: Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of facilities and vehicles. Perform grounds maintenance duties to include general upkeep, snow and trash removal.
RESPONSIBLE TO: FLEET AND EQUIPMENT FOREMAN
MINIMUM EDUCATION
AND/OR EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent with minimum of one (1) to two (2) years experience cleaning large vehicles and facilities. Demonstrate ability to perform the functions of the classification. Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License.
SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. TECHNICAL
a. Cleaning of interior and exterior of vehicles and equipment. Identify and document missing/defective equipment and replace missing/faded decals and forms. Initiate work orders and coordinate with Fleet and Equipment Foreman as required.
b. Clean the interior and exterior of facilities. Report building defects to the Fleet and Equipment Foreman.
c. Remove trash from facilities and grounds to include snow and general upkeep.
d. Operate vehicles and cleaning equipment. All equipment must be secured with protective covers installed prior to cleaning.
- COORDINATION
b. Coordinate all work order completions with the Fleet and Equipment Foreman.
- SAFETY
b. Report safety hazards to the Fleet and Equipment Foreman.
- GENERAL
a. Complete periodic training as required.
