Provide support to the practice in the functional areas of clerical, clinical and business under the direct supervision of a Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician.

Requirements:

  Licensed Nursing Assistant NH State (if a LNA)

  n

• n

  Certified or Registered MA (if a MA)

  n
n
• n

  Highschool graduate or equivalent

  n
n
• n

  Previous experience as LNA or MA preferred

  n
n
• n

  CPR certified within 90 days of hire

  n
n

Major Responsibilities:

n
1. n

   Performs clinical duties such as assisting provider in examinations; procedures and obtaining vital signs.

   n
n
2. n

   Cleans exam rooms as needed

   n
n
3. n

   Follow-up with patient regarding home care.

   n
n
4. n

   May schedule diagnostic testing; follow up with patients; as ordered by the physician.

   n
n
5. n

   Performs administrative duties including answering telephone inquiries; scheduling; organizing patient charts; filing; faxing; pulling and copying patient records.

   n
n
6. n

   Orders and stocks exam rooms with appropriate medical supplies.

   n
n
7. n

   Calls in prescriptions as directed by provider.

   n
n
8. n

   Assist with obtaining and maintaining CPAP downloads and database.

   n
n
9. n

   Assist with pre-authorizations.

   n
n
10. n

    Other duties as assigned.
