As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes. n
- Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake. n
- Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises. n
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose and document any changes. n
- Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed. n
- Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment. n
Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements:

- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Maryland n
- CPR certification n
- CNA/PCA/HHA Certificate or License n
- Valid driver’s license n
- Valid I-9 documentation n
- Current TB test or X-ray n
- Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. n
- Companion / Dementia / Alzheimer experience is a plus n
