Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.

Our Glendale, CA office is looking for an experienced, organized, and super-savvy Production Coordinator (Shots) to help support our growing slate of 2D and CG animated series and films. About the role:

Assisting the Producer and Production Manager with various shot production tasks; Running daily shot production reviews; Addressing leadership questions and requests during review meetings; Providing vital production and schedule context in reviews and making team aware of any production challenges and flagging potential ramifications to notes; Scheduling daily review time with Executive Producers, Supervisors, and Leads; Preparing review materials by creating playlists with historical context versions, and providing past notes or caveats for reference; Taking notes in meetings; Tracking deadlines and flagging any complexity issues to departments as needed; Working with department leads and supervisors to provide information on how to use resources and production tools, in addition to checking on assignment progress; Managing tracking system for notes (internal and external) and ensuring timely responses to stakeholders; Support creatives with following up on requests and providing updates on notes; Maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with Flying Bark production management teams in Sydney and Madrid; And all other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Production Company. About you:

A minimum of 2 years experience in animation (feature or series), video game, VFX, or live-action industries preferred. The ability to deal with confidential information and material discretely and professionally at all times; Excellent time management skills; Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Exceptional attention to detail; High-level organizational skills; Ability to prioritize and multitask; Must have excellent follow-through skills; Experience with file management, producing and formatting documents, and updating spreadsheets; The ability to work to deadlines, under pressure, or in a fast-paced environment; Be available, team-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and a problem solver; Able to work effectively independently; A flexible approach and ability to take on extra tasks when required; Strong proficiency with Shotgrid and Google applications required; Proficiency with SyncSketch preferred. Salary Range: $1,112.80/week - $1,200.00/week
