The Sage X3 Business Process and Systems Analyst is a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to design business processes and implement software applications that support those processes across our food growing, manufacturing and distribution multi-company enterprise. The Business Analyst leverages ERP and business process expertise to assess enterprise needs, analyze operational and financial data, and support implementation through cross-functional collaboration, end-user training, and continuous improvement. This position collaborates closely with peers and leaders in evaluating current systems and aligning business objectives with the strategy for technology and security. 2025-2026 is centered on business process simplification and standardization, and Sage X3 implementation across six companies in North America.
Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field -- or five additional years of relevant experience. •
Must have 3+ years Sage X3 Implementation Experience. If it's not on your resume, you will not be considered. • Experience with business processes and ERP data in at least two functional areas: Procurement, Production, Inventory, Lot Traceability, Sales, or Accounting. • Strong analytical thinking and critical thinking skills. • Proficient in writing clear documentation, process maps, test scripts, and training materials. • Clear and effective communicator with both technical and non-technical team members in both in-person and remote settings. • User-centric and business mindset. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. • Microsoft Office suite, Visio, Copilot, Smartsheet • Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Must be flexible across North America time zones and be willing to work additional hours as needed.
Preferred: • Sage X3 implementation and/or advanced configuration experience. • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) query skills. • Understanding of compliance frameworks: ITGC, SOX, FSMA. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Role and Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, design, and document standardized, scalable processes across procurement, manufacturing, inventory, distribution, sales, and accounting. • Identify process gaps and opportunities for standardization and automation. Recommend ERP-driven solutions that align with Sage X3 best practices and food industry compliance standards. • Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, functional specs, test cases, and user guides.
ERP Systems Support • Configure and support key Sage X3 modules and integrated systems including SIE, DocStar, Limble, and Kyriba. • Translate business requirements into functional ERP specifications and coordinate with developers on integrations and customizations. • Triage user requests, troubleshoot issues, and work with internal teams or external Sage X3 partners on resolutions. • Comply with change management policies and procedures.
Implementation & Continuous Improvement • Participate in ERP-related projects including implementation, upgrades, optimizations, and process automation. • Lead functional testing, coordinate UAT, and deliver hands-on training to super users and stakeholders. • Monitor post go-live system adoption and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. • Suggest system and process improvements based on data analysis and user feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management • Serve as a functional liaison between business teams and IT/development resources. • Facilitate workshops, training sessions and cross-functional meetings. • Support change management efforts to drive user adoption of new processes, tools, and solutions, improving system utilization.
