We are seeking an experienced

Mainframe Developer

with a strong background in

IMS/DB, CICS, COBOL, and JCL

for a high-impact role with our client JPMorgan Chase, through Mphasis. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of mainframe environments, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of supporting enterprise-level applications in a transactional banking or financial services environment.

Must-Have Technical Skills: IMS/DB and IMS/DC

- Strong hands-on experience with hierarchical database systems and transaction managers CICS

- Proficient in building and managing CICS-based online applications COBOL

- Advanced knowledge of COBOL programming JCL (Job Control Language)

- Strong expertise in writing and debugging JCL scripts for batch processing z/OS

- Solid understanding of mainframe operating systems Additional Required Skills:

Experience with

mainframe data set management

and basic

system security principles Ability to manage

production support , enhancements, and batch/online troubleshooting Familiarity with

performance tuning

and optimizing existing COBOL and IMS programs Experience working in an

Agile or DevOps

environment is a plus Excellent

communication skills

and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience in the

banking or financial services

sector is strongly preferred
