Job Description:
At Cambria, our Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, identifying, and developing candidates with high potential to contribute meaningfully to the success of Cambria. This position will support the Talent Acquisition team at the Cambria manufacturing facility.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist oversees each aspect of the recruiting cycle and collaborates with leadership to develop talent acquisition strategies and to advise hiring managers on best practices for assessing and interviewing candidates, while maintaining strong connections in the community and staying informed of local talent trends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Establishes hiring needs by understanding Cambria's staffing plan and objectives for the designated support groups
Serves as primary talent partner for multiple internal departments within manufacturing fabrication locations and distribution centers
Assists the Talent Acquisition Manager in workforce planning efforts for the Cambria processing facility and other departments as needed.
Creates talent acquisition strategies for active and passive candidate recruiting
Recommends placement of candidates for a variety of positions from internal and external resources
Builds relationships within diverse professional organizations, establishes university and high school partnerships, and coordinates and attends college and community recruiting events
Oversees applicant tracking workflow, screens resumes, conducts interviews and facility tours
Develops benchmarks for tracking recruiting metrics and employee retention to measure recruitment efficiencies
Maintains accurate ATS data; support periodic audit and reporting processes to ensure complete and timely data collection for candidates and recruitment activity
Communicates hiring strategy with corresponding departments to ensure efficient on-boarding of new employees
Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience using cloud-based Applicant Tracking Systems, including sourcing and recruitment, applicant disposition, reporting, and compliance management
Delivers Results - rigorously drives self and others to achieve high levels of individual and organization performance
Demonstrates a high sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
Excellent time-management and organizational skills and the ability to use independent judgment in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
Strong collaborator and communicator that includes listening and facilitation skills
Bilingual (English and Spanish) required
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
Experience:
0-2 years of related human resources recruiting and employment programs administration experience in a manufacturing environment
Systems: Google suite, Workday
Managerial Responsibilities: No direct reports
Travel Requirements:
Position requires local travel between Cambria locations, career fairs, employment events, and includes some overnight stays
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds for recruiting and career fair events
Cambria's starting pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00. Pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
