Job Description:
As a Sr. Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure web applications and services. This role involves building service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions, integrating security frameworks, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies Build SOAP and RESTful web services using Spring Web Service Implement BPEL orchestration and human task workflows Develop frontend components using VueJS and NodeJS Administer and optimize WebSphere Application Server deployments Utilize XML technologies including JAXB, SAX, DOM, XSLT, XPath, and XQuery Apply SOA principles and design patterns for scalable integration Manage source code and dependencies using GIT or Ant Implement security frameworks for web services and Java applications Participate in all phases of development and lead delivery efforts
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Strong experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development Proficiency in Spring Hibernate, EclipseLink, and Open JPA Advanced SQL and Oracle database programming skills Experience with WebLogic, Tomcat, and other JEE application servers Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Knowledge of enterprise integration and SOA architecture Experience with shell or Perl scripting in Unix/Linux environments Understanding of UI design and web-based technologies Familiarity with source control systems like SVN or ClearCase Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
