Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced or Senior Software Test Engineer to join the F/A-18 Mission Systems team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.The selected individual will collaborate with a team to perform a variety of testing to ensure safety, quality, and reliability of weapon system software for the Super Hornet and Growler fleet, delivering new and improved capabilities to the US Navy.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of levels including (Experienced or Senior) Software Test Engineers.Position Responsibilities:Leads the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionalityPartners with stakeholders and leads the review and identification of software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testabilityLeads the design of test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications.
Advise on the set up and configuration of test environments, including hardware, and software configurationLeads executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processesAdvises on test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilitiesLeads creating, documenting, and maintaining test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standardsLeads developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processesMentor and guide junior engineers in testing best practices and methodologiesSecurity Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
