Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tool Room Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient tool room Issue and track tools, PPE, and Consumables to production staff

Maintain checkout and return records Monitor tool usage and follow up on non-returns Track consumable usage by individual or department

Maintain and replenish inventory of tools, consumables, and parts

Order and receive supplies through the Purchasing Department Record price, PO#, and receipt date on incoming items Coordinate unusual requests or repairs with Shop Supervisor, QC Manager, or Maintenance

Prepare and maintain frequently used items

Stock welding wire, assemble weld leads/cables

Source new tools and supplies as requested by management Manage Supplies for field truck(s) Collect forklift keys daily at shift end Manage Toolroom AutoCribs, perform weekly cycle counts Tool and Equipment Repair

Inspect tools upon return for damage; tag or repair as needed Perform minor repairs on hand tools, welding torches, and cables Coordinate complex repairs with Maintenance Support the Maintenance Department with equipment repairs when time allows and priorities permit Inventory Management

Track and maintain records of all material types including job-specific, standard stock, overstock, remnants, and scrap Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory with accurate data on alloy, size, quantity, and location. Assist with company-wide semi-annual inventory counts Coordinate overstock disposition with Project Manages and Supply Chain Maintain material flow between buildings to reduce handling costs Keep inventory areas and yard clean, organized, and safe Serve as the go-to resource for inventory location and identification Receiving

Accurately receive incoming materials; verify quantity and quality per Samuel Advanced Fabrication Standards Enter receipts into the companies ERP system and file paperwork in designated file cabinet Report vendor shipment issues or excess materials for return or reclassification Ensure safe and timely unloading of trucks; place materials in designated locations immediately to avoid double handling General

Stay informed on supply types, uses, and quantity requirements based on workload variations Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and customer information Perform miscellaneous duties assigned WORK ENVIRONMENT:

May be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts, and exotic materials. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sitting, standing, kneeling, laying, stooping, crawling, reaching, pulling. Lifting to 50lbs regularly Must be able to stand, squat, bend, crawl, reach Must be able to climb ladders or make use of a lift
