The Quality Assurance Engineer I is responsible for supporting Quality Assurance in Instrument Manufacturing. This position reports to the Quality Manager and is part of the Instrument Manufacturing Quality Assurance team located in Chaska, MN. It is an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Ensure compliance with Quality System procedures, corporate policies, and global regulations (e.g., 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971). Manage non-conformance reports and planned deviations. Update SOPs and DMRs through change orders. Participate in equipment qualifications and validations. Coordinate stop-ships and containment actions. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and utilize DBS to drive cross-functional enhancements with development, technical operations, and manufacturingaimed at ensuring quality, reducing rework and waste, and maximizing customer satisfaction. Reduce defects and non-conformances. Increase productivity. Reduce operator cycle time. The essential requirements for the role include: Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical). 0-2+ years of relevant experience. Preferred additional experience includes: Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Experience in the medical device industry.
