Financial Systems Project Manager

Financial Systems Project Manager 12 Month Contract $100-150/hr. pay rate NYC Hybrid Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives related to ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday), EPM (e.g., Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan), and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines and deliverables. Manage project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and stakeholder communications. Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and third-party consultants to ensure successful execution of technical and functional tasks. Track and report on project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience managing projects, preferably in Finance or IT, including demonstrated experience managing large project portfolios Experience supporting or implementing ERP, EPM, or BI platforms. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and project management tools (Jira, Confluence) Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and data analytics processes. Experience in a finance function (FP&A, Accounting, Systems) preferred. Exposure to cloud-based financial systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Workday, OneStream, Anaplan) preferred.
