Job Summary:

The IT Systems Engineer III (IAM) serves as a Tier II / III escalation resource and / or subject matter expert on a particular topic and / or application that manages identity and access management. Areas of responsibility include, but not limited to the overall health and hygiene of identity architecture and infrastructure, ensuring identity and access policy and procedures are followed by the team, update identity and access policies, procedures, and / or infrastructure to meet compliance and / or modernization needs, update audit procedures and policies and more. Support IT Systems Engineer I and II in advanced identity and access architecture and functionality as well as a supporting role and liaison for IT Systems Engineers IV and V.

Essential Functions:

Tier II / III support for identity and access changes that require architectural reconfiguration or redesign of key identity and access infrastructure

Help support and consult IT teams to incorporate other technology systems to leverage CAE's identity and access infrastructure as their identity and access mechanism

Responsible for the adherence, maintenance, and update of identity and access management approval workflows in ITSM

Responsible for planning and implementation of identity and access management technologies

Responsible for ensuring critical identity and access infrastructure is adequately monitored and timely remediation of critical identity and access management issues

Subject matter expert of specific identity and access management process and / or technology covered by overall IAM team mandate

Supports identity and access management technology strategies, policies, and procedures

Identifies issues, evaluates trends, and anticipates requirements

Ensures adherence to all regulatory compliance processes and requirements, including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley, DFARS, ITAR and like regulations

Responsible for supporting the monitoring, alerting and automation infrastructure for critical identity and access infrastructure

Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing infrastructure technologies

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Minimum Qualifications

:

Experience: 4-7 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Engineer in a medium to high volume environment; experience in managing an enterprise Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Hybrid) Infrastructure; Experience administering identity and access enterprise of Linux, Oracle, and Windows environments and administering the identity and access of the various applications and identities that interact. 3-4 years of experience working with scripting languages like Python, Java, XML, JSON or Powershell.

Knowledge: Current knowledge of hardware technologies, operating systems, network configurations and protocols; Knowledge and understanding of identity and access tools

Skills/Abilities: Strong problem solving; Ability to complete job requirements within time constraints; Ability to train new employees to support systems as required; Ability to work effectively in an individual or team environment; Must be self-motivated and directed

Education/Certification: BS degree in computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience

Eligibility Requirement:

This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Working Conditions

:

Standard office environment

Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail

Office working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

On site manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

Office workers may be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

Standing: 10% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

Sitting: 90% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

Lifting (in pounds): up to 10 pounds

Pushing (in pounds): up to 10 pounds

Mental/Visual: use of computer, calculator, filing cabinets

Workspace (line, cube, etc): cubicle/desk

Salary range: $120,900.00 to $146,000.00.

Several factors contribute to actual salary, including location, experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
