Sr Procurement Buyer (Finance)
As a Senior Procurement Buyer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for all aspects related to the purchase of Direct and Indirect Capital purchases. You should be proficient with electronic purchasing systems, negotiating with suppliers, and analyzing total costs. You will review and utilize appropriate contract terms and conditions and contract templates to protect the Company's interests. Responsibilities include negotiating directly with suppliers, conducting in-depth price analyses, developing formal negotiation plans, and resolving exceptions to terms and conditions. The Buyer must understand and adhere to Honeywell sourcing policies/procedures and the Code of Conduct. You will interact with multiple departments at all levels of internal and external organizations and resolve problems professionally, fairly, and ethically.
You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
This role impacts the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing procurement and supply chain best practices. 5+ years of procurement/sourcing, purchasing procedures, concepts, products, services, and strategic supplier management experience WE VALUE
