Medical Laboratory Technician Hiring Range: $25.81 to $34.42 Pay Range: $25.81 to $38.72 Shift:

Summary of Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing a full range of clinical laboratory tests on various specimens. Qualifications: SCF programs serve primarily Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCFs service area. Employees should understand the cultures and needs of this population to help achieve SCFs vision of a Native Community that enjoys wellness in all aspects and its mission to work with the Native Community for health and wellness services: National certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or ability to obtain within six months of hire. MLT Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Native Preference: In accordance with P.L. 93-638, as amended, SCF pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training. Employee Health Requirements: Compliance with SCFs Employee Health Procedure is mandatory. All employees must agree to undergo health screening and immunizations before starting work.
