Helpdesk Analyst!
Locations with Position Openings : Athens, GA Position Status Options : Full Time
Summary:
The Help Desk Analyst will provide technical assistance to users by answering questions, resolving computer/network problems for IHS in person, telephone or electronically and aid with hardware/software from setup through maintenance.
Primary responsibilities: Answers inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems via Royal. Enters commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Installs and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Provides primary and initial contact for end-user support responsible for generating incident tickets and providing second level support for help desk analysts. Actively escalates help desk issues as appropriate to the Senior Help Desk Analysts. Proactively refers major hardware or software problems and defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Follows established incident service management while following compliant incident management and service escalation. Provides IT support and participate in the Company on-call tech support program. Requirements:
