Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications using AWS, React, and NodeJS. This position supports the Client in implementing cloud-native solutions that align with the client's enterprise architecture and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture Design and develop scalable AWS micro frontends and engineering solutions using cloud-native services Build front-end components and back-end services for cloud and hybrid infrastructures Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and updates Manage configuration drift and ensure consistency across environments using AWS tools Create detailed solution documentation covering design, testing, and production support Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure compliance with security policies Apply DevOps principles to streamline SDLC and enhance automation Deploy solutions across environments, implement monitoring, and ensure application resiliency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change requirements and align solutions with business needs Lead full-stack developers and provide technical guidance
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Expertise in developing AWS full-stack applications using NodeJS and React Strong proficiency in micro-frontends orchestration using frameworks like Single-SPA Experience in API development tailored for AWS environments including AWS API Gateway Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts and security best practices including IAM, role-based authorization, SSO, and Cognito Hands-on experience with serverless computing and event-driven architecture Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages such as NodeJS and Python Experience in monitoring and logging for cloud infrastructure and applications Deep understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline optimization using AWS CodeBuild/Deploy and Terraform Capability to provide end-user training and support for cloud tools Experience in business process automation and simplification Strong collaboration and communication skills with product and business owners Commitment to compliance with agency policies and procedures
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
