Lead Technical Business Analyst

to play a dual roleguiding a team of Business Analysts while remaining directly involved in delivering strategic, high-impact projects. Youll work across multiple business units, bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams, and ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, prioritised, and executed to the highest standard. This is a hands-on leadership positionperfect for someone who can move seamlessly between defining strategy, coaching a team, and diving into data or system integrations. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, managing performance and career development. Act as a hands-on BA for key projects from discovery through to delivery. Establish and improve BA processes, templates, and documentation standards. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to transform business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Review Epics, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria to ensure clarity and feasibility. Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, Snowflake, and Tableau to support solution design. Facilitate workshops, wireframing, and prototyping sessions to align technical and business perspectives. Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and recommend mitigation plans. Maintain clear, concise communication to help teams focus on the most impactful outcomes. What Youll Bring Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to work directly with data. Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS preferred), APIs, and microservices. Track record of delivering projects in high-volume transaction environments. Agile certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent). Strong skills in Jira, Confluence, and design tools such as Figma, Miro, or Lucidchart. Solid experience in data analysis and visualisation using Snowflake, Excel, and Tableau. Excellent documentation abilitiesprocess flows, Epics, and User Stories. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Nice-to-Have Experience setting up or scaling BA practices in a growing company. Familiarity with API documentation and system integration workflows. Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy industries. Additional certifications (CBAP, PMP, CSPO, etc.).
