Position Summary
We are seeking a
full-time Electrical Estimator
who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about electrical systems and green technologies. This role is crucial to ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive proposals for a variety of residential and commercial electrical projects. Key Responsibilities Design electrification solutions and prepare proposals for residential EV charging, lighting, remodels, and general electrical work. Conduct pre-bid site walks, documenting site conditions for accurate scope development and cost estimating. Prepare detailed material and equipment lists for proposals. Interact directly with customerson-site, via phone, and emailto support the sales and project lifecycle. Ensure timely and accurate cost estimates, adhering to project deadlines. Provide follow-through from the first point of customer contact through final project inspection. Serve as liaison between customers, field personnel, office staff, and management. Qualifications Required: Strong background in electrical systems and understanding of NEC codes. Proficiency in cost estimating and budgeting. Solid knowledge of electrical contracting practices. Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. Experience with electrical project management. Preferred: Experience with EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) projects. Background in Electrical Engineering or Field Experience. Certifications such as CPE (Certified Professional Estimator), CEM (Certified Energy Manager), or PMP (Project Management Professional). Additional Traits: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technically proficient with computers and estimating software. Willingness to travel to job sites as needed. A team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to customer and team relationships. Compensation & Benefits: ????
Salary Range:
$65,000 $120,000 per year (DOE) ????
