Job Overview
The Receiving Coordinator II is responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and organizing the inventory for easy access and distribution with minimal oversight. This role primarily receives and maintains daily volume for
individual parcels, less-than-truck-loads (LTL) and full-truck-loads (FTL) . This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently to ensure the smooth flow of materials into the warehouse.
Responsibilities and Duties
Receiving Process Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials to ensure they match purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips. Ensure proper labeling or relabeling, storage, and organization of products in the primary location to ensure it is pick-ready and stage product to go into secondary location with overstock tag. Perform basic tasks within the enterprise resource planning tool and become educated on more difficult tasks within the system. Liaise with other warehouse associate to resolve discrepancies or issues with returns or damaged goods. Work with other warehouse associates to ensure proper stock levels and timely replenishment of materials. Meet performance metrics set for role including purchase order dollars received, lines and accuracy threshold. Unload incoming carrier shipments in a safe and efficient manner. Gain basic understanding of bill of lading (BOLs). Quality Control
Inspect received goods for any damage or discrepancies related to quantity and type of product received. Document any issues or barriers and notify management. Maintain accurate records of received shipments, including quantities, descriptions, and any other relevant information in the document management system. Work Environment
Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse facility. Support operations with warehouse-related projects. Seek guidance from other warehouse associates to expand knowledge of receiving and warehouse operations. Provide guidance to Tier 1 receiving associates. Communicate effectively and efficiently with other warehouse associates and customers. Follow the attendance policy in accordance with the company's employee handbook. Safety
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during the receiving and storage processes. Safely operate various power industrial trucks (electric pallet jack, man lift, and stock chaser). Practice safety protocols when unloading shipments. Comply with all other company safety policies and procedures. Successfully complete the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) training. Skills and Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required. A minimum of 1-4 years of work experience in a warehouse environment required. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as a forklift and electric pallet jack required. Comfortable working in a heavy-duty warehouse environment. Knowledge of safety standards in a warehouse environment. Ability to read and write and perform simple mathematics. Ability to use and understand a ruler and/or taper measurer. Basic computer skills such as file storage, control panel navigation, internet and email utilization. Ability to work with a diverse range of people. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with other associates. Benefits:
