Were seeking an experienced

Associate Director, Public Relations

to lead and execute strategic media relations for our Digital Assets and Consulting Services business lines. Reporting to the Executive Director of Global Public Relations, this individual will be responsible for driving awareness, shaping public perception, and protecting the firms reputation in alignment with business goals. This is a high-impact role for a media-savvy storyteller with a strong understanding of the financial services landscape, especially in digital assets, consulting, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of a global public relations strategy for the Digital Assets and Consulting Services businesses.

Promote company news, insights, and leadership perspectives through proactive media outreach, interviews, bylined articles, press statements, roundtables, and editor briefings.

Cultivate and manage relationships with Tier 1 and trade media, including journalists and analysts focused on blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.

Collaborate with marcom colleagues and business leaders to ensure integrated messaging, campaign alignment, and results-driven reporting.

Oversee relationships with global PR agencies in the U.S. and U.K., providing strategic guidance and reviewing media content for approval.

Monitor media coverage, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to elevate the firms visibility and thought leadership.

Support social media efforts tied to earned media, including content creation and multimedia storytelling.

Respond to inbound media inquiries and help guide the firms voice across evolving and complex business topics.

Uphold risk mitigation practices and reputational safeguards, maintaining high standards of accuracy and ethics in all communications.

Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles.

Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven ability to develop media strategies that generate meaningful, high-impact coverage.

Exceptional writing and storytelling skills able to simplify complex concepts and craft compelling narratives.

Experience working with executive spokespeople and developing thought leadership platforms.

Comfort working across time zones and managing international media efforts.

Background in

digital assets, crypto, or blockchain

is strongly preferred.

Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Analytical mindset with a focus on results measurement and continuous improvement.

Compensation: $165,000 per year
