Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kauai community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kauai, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the islands Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawaii. Wilcox is part of Hawaii Pacific Health, one of the states leading health care systems and a not-for-profit health care organization with medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers working together to create a healthier Hawaii. The Imaging department at Wilcox Health, recently named the Wilcox Family Imaging Center, is a full-service department providing routine and specialized imaging and/or therapeutic procedures for inpatient, outpatient and emergency patients. The department is staffed seven days a week, 24-hours-a-day. Board-certified physician radiologists provide quality care and timely interpretation of radiographic procedures. Services provided include General Radiology (X-rays), Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT or CT scan), Ultrasound, Digital Mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear medicine, Echocardiography and Bone Densitometry. As the CT Technologist, you will help the Imaging Services department provide quality diagnostic services and care for patients and their families. Your responsibilities include performing computed tomography scans on patients, while working closely with physicians and other hospital staff to ensure that this imaging technology is seamlessly integrated into quality patient care plans. Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing. Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card. One (1) year Radiologic Technologist or related experience. Preferred:

Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Registered CT Technologist with the ARRT. One (1) year CT Technologist experience.
