Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled
DevOps Engineer
to support the DIA under the SITE III A+P Task Order. SITE III provides global coverage for integrated IT intelligence requirements and technical support services to the DIA and the Springfield Customer. The program also supports business process reengineering, performance metrics development, feasibility studies, IT systems architecture planning, and full lifecycle engineering and development.

Annapolis Junction, Maryland - Hybrid Remote
Responsibilities:
Support engineering platforms and microservices that modernize how data is leveraged across multiple DoD customers Develop infrastructure and task automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform Provision and manage cloud services (primarily AWS) Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems Install, configure, and support Kubernetes, Docker, NiFi, and cloud metrics tools; manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins Deploy containerized applications using Helm, Kustomize, and custom manifests. You will also investigate and resolve technical issues, ensure system performance and scalability, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph Strong experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments Experience configuring and managing Linux operating systems (RHEL) Proven ability to investigate and resolve technical issues Active Security+ or other DoD 8570-compliant certification Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI Experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant solutions using AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation Experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters using Helm, Kustomize, and custom manifests Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies Experience with cloud monitoring and performance dashboards Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Shell) Compensation:
Salary: $140,000 - $220,000 (based on experience and education) Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave
