Description
Job Purpose
The INV/Inventory Control Associate consults with Check-In Associates in inspecting all items returned by carriers, assists in determining dispositions and ensuring product is routed to the appropriate area. They also monitor Investigation issues involving Design Consultants to ensure the dispute has reached a resolution. Responsible for all parts orders needed to complete product to ensure it is ready for sale. Also responsible for researching and resolving any inventory issues.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Operates as a Check-In Inspector to include small parcel and the CPU along with assisting as needed with the carrier returns. Orders all parts needed for products being transferred and for Galleries. Track parts orders until parts arrive and are installed. Monitors account in INV to ensure the DC or CSR resolves and closes the dispute. If further research is needed, contacts the MFR to obtain needed information. Stage, scan and complete all paperwork for TDF, Barnabus and The Salvation Army and supervises the loading on their trucks. Responsible for inventory processing for the Outlet, FLS On Main and Salvage products that are in service locations. Ensures all products are sellable and orders any necessary parts if needed. Also monitors transfer bays to ensure items have been sent to the correct location from Check-In, the shop or the racks. Reconciles bays for DCR25-DCT34, and DMP01. Handles inventory issues to include cross tags, incorrect barcodes and lost product. Operates as back up to the RMF Associate as needed. Also assists RMF with claims, tagging, paperwork, PIE entries and MFR representatives. Ability to operate weight scales and weigh furniture returned from deliveries. Other duties assigned by supervisor and / or manager. Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement. Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours. Perform various related duties as required. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. The job duties are not limited to the items as described above, duties can be added or changed at any given time. Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with three or more years of related experience in Inventory.
Preferred Education and Experience
College degree preferred 5+ years' experience working in Inventory or related field.
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment with some warehouse elements and is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones but may also include utilization of trucks, Dolphin scan guns, wheeled carts, dollies, utility knives, safety belts, and hand trucks.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Physically, this position may be required to exert force, push, pull or otherwise move objects of at least 50 lbs. The ability to push, pull, and maneuver 200 lbs to 300 lbs with a dolly, hand truck, or wheeled cart is also highly encouraged. Additionally, this position should be able to stand, walk, hold and lift, possibly for extended periods of time while performing these functions in a continuous sequence for up to eight hours with one lunch break. Safety precautions include utility knife training, safety goggles and gloves worn when disposing of glass and wood.
