Electrical QA We are seeking talented and organized QARs to join our team! The QAR is responsible for ensuring code compliance and providing constructability support for Construction Management and Engineering Groups. This includes discipline-specific installation support, such as EEW kits for Electrical. Position Specifics The QAR must be qualified to inspect all received materials before installation to ensure fabrication specifications are met, and to verify that installations comply with: Master Specifications, Standard Installation Details, State and Local Codes (UMC, UBC, UPC, NFPA), SMACNA Standards, International Codes, ASME, AWS Interface with OM/PM/CC and Trades regarding project quality and system operation Coordinate with Contractor supervision on installation functions and requirements Assist trades in identifying and resolving construction issues Perform inspections and signoff on equipment Participate in SOP, SIPP, and Pre-Task Plan audits for compliance Resolve technical construction questions and respond to discipline-specific RFIs Education/Experience Experience in similar QA/QC roles for major high-tech construction projects or semiconductor facilities Skills Effective communication with trades; technical skills to interface between trades, designers, and tool owners Understanding of discipline-specific details (EL, ME, PI, AR, LSS), area layout, microschedule, and construction sequencing Ability to track hours, assess earned value, and coordinate readiness checklists Resolve technical construction questions in the field Strong knowledge of local codes, construction drawings, industry standards, and practices Electrical Specific Information Support resolution of design package and panel schedule issues Manage EEW, COHE, and lockout/tagout procedures and sign-offs Review Electrical SIPP for accuracy Experience with Instrument & Controls, NEC, and specifications Desired certifications: ASSE (American Society of Safety Engineers), IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors) Note:
