Oxford Solutions is working with a financial client seeking a
Compliance Operations Analyst
with at least three years of experience in financial services or a related field for a long term contract role. This role is ideal for someone who brings subject matter expertise, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about improving compliance operations and internal controls.
Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in daily operations related to:
Compliance testing and reviews General ledger reconciliation SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Risk assessments and financial statement preparation Internal/external audit validation
Provide support to both internal and external stakeholders. Resolve routine and complex customer issues within defined timeframes and service standards. Analyze data and develop logical, timely resolution strategies per stakeholder requirements. Mentor and train team members to support cross-training goals and expand departmental capabilities. Act as a point of escalation for non-routine or complex issues, ensuring customer service and production goals are met. Assist with new product setup, system functionality testing, and test plan execution from an operational perspective. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Accounting or Finance preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or a related area Strong understanding of operational functions and banking systems Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet concurrent deadlines Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues
