The opportunity
The Operations Support Analyst, a member of the Military Education Benefit team in Student Financial Services, will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of all University military processing (certifications, invoicing, validations, payments, etc.) and applicable federal regulations. The Support Analyst will oversee projects and initiatives to support the continued improvement and streamlining of Military Benefits. You will report to the Asst Director of Military Education Benefits. This is a remote position. #LI-Remote
What you'll do:
You will continuously maintain and improve processes to support all aspects of military benefit processing. You will drive excellence in service through ongoing department support and collaboration. You will participate in key projects to collaborate with partners to design and increase current and future military practices. You will get to challenge thinking and processes to drive, facilitate, and deliver solutions within the department. You will develop an understanding of the interdependencies and sharing of data within the military benefit teams. You will complete daily support functions connected to the student experience within military benefits. You will provide direct, open, and honest feedback to promote engagement, collaboration, and communication to drive success. You will perform other related duties to support Student Financial Services and University goals. What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience acceptable. Three years of experience within military benefits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge of system platform(s) in military processing. An innovative mindset to promote and advance systematic thinking, daily operations, and practice. Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skill. Experience in Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Outlook. Employment is dependent upon successful access to the National Student Loan Data System, which requires all federal student loans to be in good standing and not in default and a credit check to review that student loans are not in default.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $51,608.00 - $82,590.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $57,027.00 - $77,155.00.
