As an

Operations Supervisor , you will be responsible for overseeing efficient, compliant, and high-quality waste collection, disposal, and recycling operations. This includes managing staff and equipment to meet service demands, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the District Manager on budgeting and performance.

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of waste collection, disposal, and recycling teams Allocate personnel and equipment to meet customer and route needs efficiently Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify and address areas for improvement Manage, train, and support team members to promote high performance and adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with other departments to optimize route planning and resource allocation Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally Maintain accurate records of operations, including service logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance reports Lead regular safety meetings and training sessions to maintain a culture of safety Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance, ensuring all assets remain in good working condition What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred Proven experience as an Operations Supervisor, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry Strong knowledge of waste management practices and applicable local, state, and federal regulations Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills Proficiency with operational management software and other relevant computer applications Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, customers, and partners Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
