Onsite QA Lead / Architect

Job Title : Onsite QA Lead / Architect Location : Denver CO USA Employment Type : Contractual Experience Level : 8 12 Years Industry : Broadband Networking / Telecommunications Key Responsibilities : Lead QA efforts across manual and automated testing activities. Validate and verify features and fixes in RDK-B based systems. Work with networking protocols and devices with a focus on Cable Modem technologies. Utilize automation frameworks such as PyTest Automatics frameworks for test execution and integration. Design and implement automated test cases using any of the above frameworks. Develop and maintain test suites for functional regression and performance testing. Collaborate with development product and client teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Analyze test results identify defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Perform manual testing to validate edge cases and complex scenarios. Maintain detailed documentation for test plans test cases and test results. Manage project timelines track progress and report status to internal and client stakeholders. Represent the QA team in client meetings ensuring clear communication and alignment with customer expectations. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior QA engineers. Required Qualifications : Bachelors degree in computer science Electronics or a related field. 8 10 years of QA experience with a strong mix of manual and automation testing. Familiarity with automation frameworks such as PyTest Automatics and Robo. Proficiency in Java Python Pytest and scripting for test automation. Strong expertise in networking protocols (TCP / IP DHCP DNS etc.). Experience in Cable Modem QA and familiarity with DOCSIS standards. Hands-on experience with RDK-B and embedded systems testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation abilities. Proven experience in project planning tracking and client engagement. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with tools like Wireshark JIRA TestRail and Git. Knowledge of Linux-based systems and shell scripting. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification. Exposure to CI / CD environments and DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins and GitLab. Work Environment : Hybrid work model (remote and on-site in Denver). Collaborative and agile team setting.
