Responsibilities

Noblis is looking for a candidate with strong, hands-on experience in

VME chassis software development

and deep familiarity with

Linux/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7.2)

in an embedded systems context.

Key Responsibilities Architect & Develop Sophisticated Embedded Solutions - Design, engineer, and optimize high-performance embedded software for VME/VPX hardware platforms operating in demanding environments Lead Technical Innovation - Spearhead DNDU 4.0.3 development while driving advancement of next-generation and legacy IOC (Input/Output Controller) capabilities Master Low-Level System Integration - Create and enhance sophisticated scripts and automation frameworks on RHEL 7.2 specifically tailored for embedded applications Drive Cross-Functional Excellence - Partner with electrical, systems, and test engineering teams to achieve seamless hardware/software integration that meets stringent performance requirements Own Full Development Lifecycle - Take command of the complete software engineering process from requirements analysis through design, implementation, rigorous testing, and ongoing support Technical Troubleshooting Leadership - Lead complex system integration and troubleshooting efforts in both laboratory and field deployment environments Ideal Qualifications Proven Expertise - Demonstrated track record of delivering embedded software solutions for VME chassis environments Technical Mastery - Deep proficiency with Linux/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7.2) specifically in embedded systems contexts Low-Level Development Skills - Strong foundation in C/C++ programming, device drivers, board support packages, and real-time operating system principles Problem-Solving Excellence - Exceptional analytical abilities and creative approach to overcoming complex technical challenges in resource-constrained environments Collaborative Mindset - Experience working effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve integrated system objectives Strong proficiency with Linux (RHEL 7.2) in an embedded systems environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline and alt least 3 years work experience or HS and 9 years relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience in embedded software development targeting VME/VPX chassis SW development and LINUX RedHat enterprise.. Strong proficiency with Linux (RHEL 7.2) in an embedded systems environment. Solid programming skills in

C/C++ ,

Python , and

Java/JavaScript . Familiarity with HTML for interface development or embedded web applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. US Citizen with a Secret clearance or the ability to get a Secret clearance. Desired Qualifications

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). Familiarity with system-level debugging and performance tuning in embedded environments. Exposure to low-level hardware interfaces and device drivers. Knowledge of configuration management tools and version control (e.g., Git).'
