Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician – CVOR Location: Detroit, MI 48236 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Interview Type: Interview Required Schedule: Hours/Week: 40 Hours/Day: 8 Days/Week: 5 Shift Options: 06:00–14:30 or 06:00–16:30 Flexible Scheduling: Available between the following formats: Five 8-hour shifts (5x8s) Four 10-hour shifts (4x10s) Three 12-hour shifts (3x12s) All with a required 6:00 AM start time Call Requirement: 24 hours of on-call per month Weekend Requirement: Must be available to work at least one weekend per month Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent, strong Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital OR setting At least 1 year of cardiac OR experience (CABG experience required ) Must have cardiac scrub experience Education & Certification: Required: Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Technology program BLS Certification Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Travel nurse and local nurse both are accepted. Rates are same for local nurse.
