The Nurse Informaticist Program Coordinator will oversee the creation, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of the Information Services clinical informatics program. The incumbent facilitates and fosters collaboration in support of the mission of the clinical informatics team to deliver informatics products to hospital service lines, management, and senior leadership. The Informaticist Coordinator provides direct support to the hospital Data Management committee efforts. The incumbent assists in the development of data management practices across service lines and information services to enable data-driven decision making focused on continuous improvement of patient care. Responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality of the BRH informatics program and related projects. Serves as the point of contact for all informatics program issues and inquiries across hospital service lines. Acts as the bridge between service delivery business lines and Information Services domains to support technology optimization and leverage new platforms and tools to enhance hospital performance. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Preferred education: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, Data Analytics. Substitution: In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a combination of college coursework in data management, clinical informatics, or data analytics and relevant work experience in data or information management systems. Experience: Five (5) years of recent clinical experience involving interaction with EHR as a clinical end user. Proven proficiency in implementing and training clinical workflows related to EHR. Preferred experience: Two years supporting computer information systems, software applications, or data processing support roles. License: Current State of Alaska Nursing License. Additional Details
Internal Hires: Pay rate determined by applicable personnel rules. External Hires: Starting at $4,160.80 per pay period, with pay step and rate based on experience. Practice Notices
