Production Supervisor (Swing Shift)

Alpha Baking Co., Inc. Monitor equipment settings and operations on an ongoing basis to ensure they function correctly and meet company standards. Oversee and regulate all process parameters related to mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding to ensure adherence to production standards. Ensure the timely and sufficient supply of all materials required to meet production goals. Verify the completion, accuracy, and timeliness of all process control and quality assurance documentation. Train hourly employees on job-specific responsibilities, safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company policies. Accurately complete and submit required reports and documentation in accordance with company and departmental procedures. Maintain open and effective communication with the department head regarding employee concerns, equipment performance, quality control, safety, sanitation, or process issues. Promptly report maintenance and sanitation concerns to the appropriate departments to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Address and, when necessary, implement disciplinary action with employees to uphold safety, sanitation, and productivity standards. Assist other departments when needed, based on availability and operational priorities. Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Previous experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Knowledge of production equipment and processes, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
