*Skills* * Ability to safely operate vehicles on public roadways and observe and interpret all signals, signs and demarcations * Use maps to plan and complete route assignments * Ability to read and write to the extent required for safe vehicle operation and completion of company records such as routes, logs and manifests * Work effectively with customers and with the dispatch team * Ability to stand and sit for extended periods and lift, pull, push, up to 50 pounds and work overtime * Provide various services at customer locations * Ability to bend, stoop and climb in the performance of assigned duties * Ability to operate company trucks including operating controls and safety equipment which may require the use of mechanical foot pedals, levers, switches, and steering apparatus * Pass DOT physical examinations, drug / alcohol testing and knowledge and skills testing
*Responsibilities* * Follow all company rules, policies and procedures including promptly reporting for duty as scheduled * Avoid crashes, injuries and damages by working safely and following procedures * Avoid any activity that could adversely affect the company's brand and image * Complete all assigned work and related record-keeping * Avoid generating internal or external complaints * Consistently meet all company standards for safety, service and productivity results
