Oahu Country Club is one of Hawaii’s first and most prestigious members-only golf clubs located in Nu’uanu valley. We are looking to hire a Maintenance Assistant.
The work hours for this position is
12pm-8pm, five days a week with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances, elevators, ventilation system, and building structure of the club. Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains. Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, ice makers, and pool pumps. Supervises the filtration and chlorination of the swimming pool. Tests swimming pool water; maintains a daily log of water test results for local health department inspections. Additional Responsibilities:
Lubricates and services all maintenance equipment. Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies. Repairs and adjusts equipment. Maintains repair records on all equipment. Trains maintenance staff in proper equipment maintenance methods. Demonstrates use of new equipment. Trains personnel in the proper use of equipment. Establishes and maintains safety procedures for using the equipment. Maintains safety records. Trains operators in care of new equipment. Performs general overhaul and other preventive maintenance on all equipment. Other duties may be assigned Qualifications:
Clear and courteous verbal communication skills. Flexibility in schedule to work during special Club and golf functions. Neat physical appearance. Read and write English language fluently. Great Benefits for Eligible employees include:
