Dive into the world of precision manufacturing where your expertise will be pivotal to crafting essential components. Your Role As a Precision Metal Bending Technician, you will master the art of setting up and operating advanced press brake machinery. Your work will ensure the creation of meticulously crafted sheet metal parts to high specifications. You’ll collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to secure the finest output aligning with strict AS9100 criteria. What You'll Do Machine Setup & Operation : Initiate jobs by setting up machines as per detailed instructions and adjusting settings for optimal performance. Fabrication : Execute bending operations, bringing blueprints to life, securing the quality of each piece. Tool Maintenance : Ensure that all tools are in pristine condition, replacing or maintaining tools as needed. Quality Control : Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee parts match high standards and note any discrepancies. Efficient Production : Manage timelines effectively to meet production goals, promptly addressing any bottlenecks. Safety First : Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and keep your workspace in top shape. Qualifications Completion of high school or GED is essential. A year or more in a press brake role, preferably within precision metal or aerospace industries. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precise measuring gadgets. Keen attention to detail and the drive to produce top-tier work. Comfortable with standing, moderate lifting, and maneuvering in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Compensation & Schedule Offering $19-26/hour, inclusive of benefits like healthcare, PTO, and a 401(k) plan. Standard shifts run from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
