Responsibilities Follow detailed recipes and formulations, ensuring use of correct and current revision numbers. Communicate effectively with staging personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ingredients to the raw prep area. Verify ingredient codes and descriptions to confirm alignment with the recipe or formulation. Accurately weigh ingredients using balance scales and other measuring equipment. Complete batch sheets with correct lot numbers and ingredient codes; apply proper labels using provided stickers. Clean and sanitize the weighing and prep areas at the beginning and end of each shift. Monitor and perform required checks and quality analyses on raw materials and finished products to ensure conformance to company standards. Adhere to all health, occupational, environmental, and food safety regulations and company policies. Comply with all aspects of the company’s Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety, GMP, etc.). Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Candidate Profile High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a food production environment preferred. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs without assistance and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions. Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills. Basic math skills essential for accurate measurement and documentation. Proficient in basic computer use (data entry, inventory tracking, etc.). Forklift license required or willingness to obtain one.
