Avionics Technician

to join a FAA-certified repair station team. This role is responsible for the inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft cargo system components in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Inspect, disassemble, repair, and reassemble cargo system components, including nets, locks, rollers, and associated hardware, per OEM specifications and FAA guidelines. Perform functional and operational testing to ensure components meet regulatory and customer requirements. Use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and testing equipment to verify tolerances and functionality. Maintain accurate repair and inspection documentation in compliance with FAA Part 145 requirements. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work instructions. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Prior experience in aircraft component repair or an FAA Part 145 repair station. Knowledge of cargo loading systems and aircraft component repair processes. Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings, and FAA regulations. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Proficient in the use of hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic shop equipment.
